I love this post from Super Healthy Kids about celery juice. Apparantly it was used for medicinal purposes before it was a food and there are MANY benefits to the humble celery. As soon as I get a juicer again (since mine broke) I will definitley be adding this to my families diet.
I actually do remember hearing Dr Oz saying that he has a 'green juice' every morning with celery and adds anything green he has (i.e. cucumber, apple, kiwi and spinach making sure to balance sweet/ savoury so it tastes nice) and the benefits are MASSIVE for your health.
